Along with the fourth year anniversary celebrations of PITX, the landport also launched its Corporate Social Responsibility program called “Sweep, Sweep, Broom, Broom” on 22 November 2022, a Solid Waste Management training with 81 residents of Barangay Tambo.
The program aims to improve the quality of life of its nearby communities in preventing more infectious diseases to spread through solid waste management and segregation.
Sweep, Sweep, Broom, Broom is a continuous effort in partnership with Barangay Tambo and Barangay Dongalo. This is the first leg of the program to better inform the residents on how they can improve their surroundings through waste management and segregation.
The landport will also take on a Clean Up Drive challenge together with these communities by first quarter of next year.
